Serving Idea: Whole Roasted Butter Chicken

Ingredients

1 jar of SOME Foods Northern Indian Butter Chicken
1 whole chicken (we love free range)

Method

Preheat the oven to 190°C. 

Wash the chicken and remove any excess fat from the cavity. Pat dry with a paper towel. Tie the legs together using kitchen string. Place the chicken on a rack in a baking dish. Brush the top with about 1/4 of a jar of SOME Foods Northern Indian Butter Chicken. Roast for 1 hour or until cooked (72.5°C when tested with a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the chicken). Leave to rest for 10 minutes.

While the chicken is resting, heat the remaining sauce in a saucepan until hot.

To serve, cut the chicken into pieces and pour over the heated sauce.
